Hi, I’m Steven, founder of PrecisionGoodsCo.

PrecisionGoodsCo is a small precision manufacturing shop based in Oregon, specializing in CNC machining, prototyping, low-volume production, and practical products for makers and machinists.

What started as a garage workshop built around making my own parts and solving problems has grown into a manufacturing business serving customers who need quality parts without the complexity or overhead of a large machine shop.

My background is in CNC machining and toolmaking, and that experience shapes how I approach every project. Whether I’m producing a custom component for a customer, developing a fixture, or designing one of our own products, the goal is the same: make it accurately, make it reliably, and find the simplest way to make it work well.

What We Do

PrecisionGoodsCo provides CNC machining for prototypes, replacement parts, custom components, fixtures, and low-volume production.

Our capabilities include machining aluminum, plastics, steels, and other materials for customers ranging from individual makers and small businesses to companies developing new products and equipment.

Alongside custom manufacturing, I also design and manufacture our own line of CNC accessories and workholding products.

Products such as the PGC GridPlate™ and Rail Clamp system started with problems I encountered in my own shop. Instead of designing products simply to have something to sell, I focus on creating tools I would genuinely want to use myself.

Our mission is simple:

Make useful things well.

That means producing dependable parts for our machining customers, developing practical products for CNC users, and continually improving the processes and equipment behind both.

As the shop grows, the goal is to expand our manufacturing capabilities while maintaining the flexibility, attention to detail, and direct customer relationship of a small shop.

Built in Oregon

Every PrecisionGoodsCo product is designed and manufactured in my shop in Oregon, and custom machining work is handled with the same hands-on approach.

Being a small operation means I’m involved throughout the process—from reviewing a design and planning how it will be manufactured to machining and inspecting the finished parts.

I believe good manufacturing comes from understanding not only how to make a part, but why it was designed that way and how it will ultimately be used.

PrecisionGoodsCo began by creating solutions for my own shop, but it has grown into something broader.

Today, the business combines precision CNC manufacturing, product development, and practical engineering under one roof.
