About Precision Goods Co.
Hi, I'm Steven, the founder of PrecisionGoodsCo.
What started as a small garage workshop has grown into a mission to design and manufacture products that help makers, machinists, and small businesses create better work.
Like many CNC owners, I spent countless hours trying to solve the same problem: workholding. Too much time was spent figuring out how to hold a part and not enough time making it. The PGC GridPlate™ was created to solve that problem by providing a flexible, repeatable workholding system designed specifically for CNC routers.
Every product is designed, tested, and manufactured in my shop in Oregon. Before launching PrecisionGoodsCo, I spent years working as a CNC machinist and toolmaker, learning what makes fixturing efficient, repeatable, and reliable. Those lessons are built into every product I make.
My goal isn't simply to sell products. It's to create tools that help makers spend less time fighting setups and more time creating parts.
Our Mission
To build practical, precision-made products that help makers, woodworkers, and machinists get more from their CNC machines.
Why We Build Products Differently
Many workholding systems rely on threaded inserts, T-tracks, or solutions that eventually wear out. The PGC GridPlate™ uses a precision-machined aluminum core with direct aluminum threads and locating features that provide repeatable positioning across the entire work surface.
The result is a system designed for flexibility, accuracy, and long-term durability.
Built in a Small Shop
PrecisionGoodsCo operates from a small workshop with a simple philosophy:
Design useful products.
Build them with care.
Continuously improve them through real-world use.
Every product starts as a problem that needed solving in my own shop. If it doesn't make my work easier, it doesn't become a product.
Thank you for supporting a small American business and being part of this journey.
